We welcome all breeds, abilities, and temperaments of dogs at this event. Please keep in mind that your dog may not be comfortable in this highly stimulating environment however. You know your dog better than anyone. This event is created to be safe, welcoming, and inclusive, but please don’t put your dog in a situation that would make them more nervous or anxious. We trust your judgement!
Yes, your intact dog is welcomed to attend this year’s event.
The canine respiratory disease that veterinarians in our area are warning about is scary and we are just as concerned about the health and wellbeing of your dog as you are.
This year’s event is limited to 200 tickets to allow plenty of room for people and dogs to socially distance.
Also, you will not find any water bowls for dogs to share. Please bring a bowl with you. Sponsor booths will have water jugs available if you run out of water.
We also recommend that all participants limit dog to dog greetings without owner permission as well as dog to person greetings outside the immediate family.
In addition, it is highly recommended that dogs get the Bordetella vaccine before attending this event.
If you have any safety or health concerns, we recommend leaving your dog at home.
You can contact the Dover Dog Howloween Team at Boo@DoverDogHowloween.com and can expect a reply within 24 hours during business hours, Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 4:00pm.
